Molybdenum chips
Our high-purity molybdenum chips (99.95%) are specifically designed for use in NOx analyzers to convert nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) into nitric oxide (NO), enabling accurate measurement of total NOx via chemiluminescence detection.
How it Works:
In chemiluminescence-based analyzers, only NO reacts with ozone (O₃) to produce light. Therefore, NO₂ must first be reduced to NO. Our molybdenum chips act as a catalytic medium, facilitating this reduction at elevated temperatures (typically 325–375°C) with high efficiency and minimal interference.
Our molybdenum chips ensure reliable, accurate, and stable NO₂ to NO conversion, supporting regulatory-compliant and high-precision NOx measurements.
